Brookhaven · Post-Construction Clean

The clean that turns finished into move-in ready

A finished build is not the same as a clean home. Drywall dust works its way into every grain of the hardwood. Paint splatter on the new tile, smudges on the fresh fixtures, construction debris inside the cabinets, silicone-tape residue on the brand-new windows. Every finished project across the Atlanta metro — a Buckhead whole-home remodel, a Druid Hills restoration, an Alpharetta new build — asks for a different cleaning than a lived-in home. We do that cleaning, on a builder's timeline, to a two-phase standard.

What's included, every time

A 12-point standard for new builds and renovations

Every post-construction project follows the same standard, backed by our re-clean promise.

A freshly reset bedroom — the White Glove Service standard
Drywall dust removed from every surface — floors, walls, and ceilings
Vacuuming with HEPA filtration to clear fine particulate from the air
Paint splatter and overspray lifted from floors, glass, and fixtures
Sticker, tape, and label residue removed from windows, appliances, fixtures
Fixtures polished — faucets, handles, light fixtures, and hardware
Inside cabinets, drawers, and closets detailed
Inside the appliances — oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave
Bathroom fixtures and tile detailed — grout, caulk, glass enclosures
Window glass inside and out within reach, plus tracks and sills
A floor deep clean suited to each surface — wood, tile, stone, carpet
Light fixtures, ceiling-fan blades, vents, and HVAC return grilles
A final walkthrough, with completion checklist for the project lead

Once the build is done and lived in, our Regular Cleaning keeps it in the order it was handed over in.

The two-phase standard

Rough clean. Then final clean.

Post-construction cleaning is not one job but two, done at different points in the build. We can do either phase on its own, or both as a single coordinated service. Most builders arrange both.

01
Phase
Rough Clean
Before fine finishes
When the heavy work is done — framing, drywall, paint, primary fixtures — and before the fine finishes go in. Includes bulk debris cleared, drywall dust extracted, gross surfaces cleaned, and construction particulate vacuumed before it embeds in the hardwood — setting the ground for the final clean.
02
Phase
Final Clean
Before walk-through
After every finish is in — trim, cabinets, countertops, lighting, hardware — and before the homeowner walks through. Includes fixtures polished, sticker and tape residue removed, paint splatter cleared, cabinet and appliance interiors detailed, glass and mirrors polished, and floors finely cleaned. The home comes to look the way the renderings did.

For builders & designers

The hand-off that makes a builder look good

A White Glove Service housekeeper deep-cleaning an empty kitchen cabinet

The clean at the end of a project is the last thing a builder controls before the homeowner walks through. Done well, it lifts every other decision — the cabinets shine, the floors glow, the fixtures catch the light, and the final walk-through becomes a celebration rather than a list of small complaints. Done poorly, even fine work is undercut by dust on the sills and paint on the floor. We work alongside the GCs, custom builders, and designers we serve so the hand-off is the cleanest part of the project.

We work to your timeline, not the reverse. Most builders set Phase 1 within a day of the heavy work wrapping, and Phase 2 the day before — or the day of — the homeowner walk-through. We are fully insured and bonded, and we can provide certificates of insurance to meet the requirements common on managed sites, including HOA communities and gated developments across the metro.

For builders and designers running several projects at once, we offer trade pricing and dedicated scheduling across your active sites. We are set up to work with custom builders and Atlanta design firms on full-home renovations and new builds, and we are glad to arrange terms that fit how you run your jobs. ★★★★★
“We did a full-house renovation in Buckhead — 14 months, every room down to the studs. The builder's ‘final clean’ was not close to ready. White Glove came in for two days and made the home look the way we had been imagining for the past year. Worth every dollar.”

For homeowners

Move into the home you actually paid for

If you have just finished a major renovation or a new build, you have spent months on samples, finishes, and change orders. The day the work wraps is the day it all finally comes together — and you should not spend that first walk-through cataloguing what is still dusty. Stone countertops should not still carry residue from the cardboard they shipped in. Hardwood floors should not hold a film of drywall dust between the boards. New windows should not wear manufacturer stickers and tape on the inside of the glass. The point of a renovation is the finished home — not the project.

We do the cleaning your builder likely did not price into the contract — the deep, patient, detailed work that turns a technically finished project into a home that is truly move-in ready. After that, we can move smoothly into recurring care if you wish, with the same team that knew your home from the day you took the keys.
